Hebden Bridge Records opened in 2014 when owner Dan turned a passion for music and a few boxes of records bought at auction into a profitable business. Since then, he has gained a large and loyal following and in 2016 he expanded Hebden Bridge Records to include a bricks and mortar store which now occupies a large upstairs corner of Hebden Bridge Antiques Centre, based at the old police station!
Friendly and knowledgeable, Dan always has a vast and eclectic selection of records available, covering many genres from prog, psych, folk, blues, jazz, pop, world music, rock, sixties, beat, rock n roll and punk alongside other more rare and unusual items. He also stocks a good selection of books, art work and collectable ephemera.
With new stock arriving every week, Dan can often be found at the centre playing records and chatting to fellow music lovers, so if you’re a vinyl fan then why not come pop and say hello.
One of the best independent Record Shops I’ve ever been to, seriously knowledgeable and friendly owner. Bought some rare Folk Albums to add to my collection and half a dozen really fairly priced Classic Rock Albums (The Floyd, Led Zepp and The Stones) for my daughter who’s now building her own vinyl collection too! Thanks again Dan
