Welcome to Word of Mouth Art, Craft & Sewing Supplies!

Established in 2009, Word of Mouth is Calderdale’s leading Art, Craft & Sewing materials supplier. We stock a good range of products from fabric to sketch pads and cover many areas of arts & crafts. In addition to the products stocked, we offer an ordering service for more specialist items.

Our staff are very creative and are on hand to advise on relevant products or trouble shoot ideas with you…….they know their stuff and are happy to help!

We host weekly sewing classes for adults and children of all abilities. A chance to share skills and learn new ones & we own 8 brother sewing machines available for you to use. We boast two huge cutting tables to easily lay out fabrics and sewing patterns, with 2 additional Brother overlockers to give your sewing a professional finish.

As well as hosting our own weekly sewing classes, we offer more specialist one-off workshops too, from understanding your sewing machine to sewing for complete beginners.

PLUS we offer one-off workshops and short courses in Felting, Brusho art, Watercolour, Shrink plastic, String art, Encaustic art, Metal stamping and Designs from India.
