A weekend of tree planting in the Calderdale Valley near Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire with Treesponsibility:
We’ll be planting trees in an area susceptible to flooding providing a much needed local flood defence.
For £25 there will be two nights accommodation at the Tom Bell Hostel, part of Hebden Hey Scout Centre along with tasty vegan meals provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Bring your bike!
We will be cycling together for 30-40mins from the Hostel to the planting site and back on the Saturday and the Sunday. (But there will be an option to have a ride in a van for those that don’t want to cycle!)
There will be an option for two minibus pick-ups from Hebden Bridge train station with your bikes if you bring them at 18:25 and 20:15 on Friday the 9th of February to take you to the hostel. Please let Treesponsibility know by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is basic bunkhouse accommodation so please bring bedding and indoor shoes/slippers.
And bring lots of warm layers, waterproofs and sturdy shoes!
